A. Excited and ready. This team wants a playoff spot.

A. Execution and staying healthy. We will be lacking depth in several areas.

A. Tucker Hooker (Sr., OL/DL), John Roberts (Sr., RB/DB), Luke Roberts (Sr., WR/DB), and Nathan Hutchings (Sr., WR/DB).
Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A. Strength gains in the weight room during the off season.
Q. What will keep you up at night?
A. Depth.
Q. What can you build on from last year?
A. We have a larger number of returning starters.
Q. Any lessons learned from last year?
A. Keep working hard and building the program for year five.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. We are moving from the Wing-T to a Pistol Wing-T.
Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A. We have some quickness and will be able to hit holes, but we won’t win any sprints.
Coach’s View
If we execute, perform, and work as hard on the field as we did in the weight room in preseason, then a playoff spot is a realistic goal for this team.
