Coach’s Corner
Coach Bo Campbell
Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
A: These are young men who spend the necessary time to improve on and off the field.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Our players have to believe in their abilities, trust that the hard work will pay off, and have the confidence to accomplish any task set before them.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Noah Flowers (Sr., QB/DB), Jacob Michal (Sr., OL/DL), Riley Howe (Sr., OL/DL), Drew Woodard (Jr., RB/LB), and Jacob Flanagan (Jr., RB/LB).
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: Offensively, we’ll be based out of the spread led by offensive coordinator Jason Campbell. Our defense will base out of a 3-4 led by defensive coordinator Charlie Wiggins. Special teams will be led by Drake Enloe, the new special teams coordinator and running backs coach.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: The majority of our starters from last year have returned with a greater understanding of what we are asking for on both sides of the ball. Because of this understanding, the team will play faster. Through a successful offseason training program, we’ve seen significant improvements in workouts, and we’re excited to see these improvements transferred to the field.
Coach’s View
We’re excited about the process taking place at LFO, and we understand the effort needed. The school and community are behind us, helping in every way possible. Our team has worked extremely hard in the weight room and spring practice to prepare for the upcoming season. We look forward to seeing our players prove how hard work on and off the field can turn into success.
