Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
A: Senior-led with multiple returning starters.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Protecting our quarterbacks in the pass game and stingy defense working to win the turnover game.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Jermaine Smith (WR/LB), Kenny Hammond Jr. (WR/DB), Cash Bandy (QB), Rickey Maples Jr. (RB/DB), Justin Baker (WR/DB), Jadon Vintrov (OL/LB), and Dylan Vintrov (RB/LB).
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: Our team’s dedication and willingness to put in work that will help them be successful.
Q: What will keep you up at night?
A: The depths of our offensive and defensive lines.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: The experience of our nine returning starters on offense and nine returning starters on defense.
Q: Any lessons learned from last year?
A: To win this region, you have to be aggressive.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: We will throw the ball more on offense and play pressure defense.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Wide receiver and defensive back speed will be the cornerstone of our team.
