A: Experienced. We have a lot of veteran players returning this year.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Staying healthy and keeping our minds strong so we can focus on the game.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: All of our seniors will be leaders.
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: This team has a great work ethic, and there are a good number of returning starters.
Q: What will keep you up at night?
A: Lack of depth.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: We came close to winning the district last season, so we just need to play one more game and win it this year.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: There won’t be any changes this year.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Our speed is average overall, but we have some advantages with quick running backs.
Coach’s View
This team has a chance to build on the success of the last three years, and I’m confident that we will make it to the playoffs again. These seniors have a chance to be the group with the most wins ever at Rhea Co. Last year’s seniors broke that record, and this year’s seniors can break it again.
