A. Talented in some areas, but young in others. Looking for leadership in other areas.
Q. What will be the keys to your success?
A. Development of our offensive line.
Q. Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A. Terrance Roberts (RB/LB), Jordan Blackwell (RB), Tanner Counts (LB), Logan Godfrey (OL/DL), Conner Middleton (K), Nathan Carver (QB), Julian Brooks (S), and Torrance Roberts (WR/DB).
Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
Q. A. The team has been working hard in the off-season to compete.
Q. What will keep you up at night?
A. Lack of depth in key positions.
Q. What can you build on from last year?
A. Building our team leadership. I feel we have some key leaders coming back.
Q. Any lessons learned from last year?
A. We are working hard to get back to where we want to be.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. We will be very similar to past years.
Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A. We are fortunate to have areas of speed. We will look to use these areas to our advantage to stretch the field.
Coach’s View
We are cautiously optimistic about our upcoming season. The seniors and underclassmen have been working very hard to make this the best season ever. Our main focus is to have the team be a family that truly cares about themselves, their school, and their community. With this formula, we will be successful.
