Coach Adam Caine
Q. How would you characterize this year’s team?
A. We are a very eager team looking for continued success.
Q. What will be the keys to your success?
A. How quickly can we become a disciplined and tough football team.
Q. Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A. Ethan Barker (Sr., QB/DB), Caleb Reed (Sr., FB/LB), Garrett Castle (Sr., OL/DL), and Cameron Weaver (Sr., WR/DB).
Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A. We have a group of 40 guys who enjoy working hard.
Q. What will keep you up at night?
A. Our next opponent.
Q. What can you build on from last year?
A. Last year we learned how hard you have to play to win games. We hope to build on that!
Q. Any lessons learned from last year?
A. We also learned how important great execution is.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. We will look about the same in offense, defense, and special teams.
Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A. I like our speed and quickness. Some of our skill players are sneaky fast.
Coach’s View
We play a very difficult schedule. Our first two games are against teams that played in the semis and finals respectively, so we will know where we stand early on. We lost some great seniors, but they taught these guys what it takes to be successful. This will be year three for these guys in a program built on discipline and toughness, so I hope to see that manifest itself in kids growing into their new roles as starters and contributors.
