Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
A: Experienced, hardworking, and a great attitude.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Winning the line of scrimmage, on third down and in the red zone.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Rip Hutcherson (TE/LB), Daniel Odom (OL/DL), Chance Townson (RB/DB), Zack Duncan (TE/LB), Collins Payne (WR/DB), Forrest Payne (WR/DB), Pete Sesterhenn (K/DB), Gilbert Vega (OL/DL), and Malik Aljack (OL/DL).
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: We gained a lot of experience and a lot of depth last season.
Q: What will keep you up at night?
A: Our schedule.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: A lot of young players got a lot of playing time last year.
Q: Any lessons learned from last year?
A: Develop depth and win important game situations.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: No.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Good team speed. We will have a little more speed at skill positions this year.
