Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
A: Striving to be better than our last season.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: We must continue to build deep connections throughout our team.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Sam Tedford (OL/DL), Kyle Shoemaker (OL/DL), Brody Lamb (RB/LB), Brett Rogers (QB/DB), Turner Junkins (ATH), Cameron Bowen (WR/DB), Jackson Hattaway (WR/S), Ryland Cobb (OL/DL), Davis Wells (OL/LB), and Chase Manning (TE/LB).
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: Our players and coaches.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: Our team continues to rewrite the story about Silverdale Football. They turned a lot of heads. The challenge this year is to turn the page. Last year’s success is not good enough for this year’s opportunities.
Q: Any lessons learned from last year?
A: A connected team is a committed team. The strength of our team was its connection. Our guys cared for and played for each other. They realized that belief really does drive behavior.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: A lot of new guys in key skill positions. We must improve in every phase of the game. We will be looking for players who can add the most value in each position and phase of the game.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Improving Our team has worked hard this off-season to become stronger and faster.
