A. The 2026 team will be athletic and have good depth.

A. Controlling the line of scrimmage, winning the turnover battle, and minimizing penalties.
Q. WHO WILL BE YOUR KEY LEADERS ON THE TEAM?
A. Dayon Cooper, Brandon Goldsmith, Chris Gonzalez, Anthony Gibbs Jr., Kaden Baker, Kemijah Harris, Haven Massengile, Braden Meeks, and Knox Israel.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST REASONS FOR OPTIMISM?
A. We will be athletic and should have some good depth at certain positions.
Q. WHAT WILL KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT?
A. The development of our young offensive line.
Q. WHAT CAN YOU BUILD ON FROM LAST YEAR?
A. We were able to win a state championship last season. Anytime you do that, you obviously want to build on that success by continuing to take the next step with your program. There is an old saying that it is easier to get to the top of the mountain than staying at the top of the mountain.
Q. ANY LESSONS LEARNED FROM LAST YEAR?
A. Yes, there are always lessons learned each and every season regardless of how much success you have.
