Q&A with Coach Erik Kimrey
Q. How would you characterize this years’ team?
A. We lost some great players and leaders from last year’s team, and therefore, we will need to see who fills those roles and how they perform.
Q. What will be the keys to success?
A. This team is going to have to be patient and keep our long-term goals in mind. As it is with every sea- son, we need to stay healthy and put our best team on the field when the playoffs begin.
Q. Who will be the key leaders on your team?
A. Cash Freeman, Maddox McClure, Keegan Croucher, David Gabriel Georges, Khori Faulkner, and Hans Emery Julien.
Q. What are your biggest reason for optimism?
A. This team has fantastic character and focus. They have been positive all preseason.
Q. What will keep you up at night?
A. The unknowns and staying healthy.
Q. What can you build on from last year?
A. We learned a lot from the success of last year. The key will be finding a new formula that is specific to this team and having the resolve to follow it.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. Of course! I guess we will all know when we see it. Every year is a new challenge.
