Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?

A: Blue-collar – hard workers.

Q: What will be the keys to your success?

A: Reducing turnovers on offense and creating turnovers on defense.

Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?

A: All of our seniors will definitely lead the team.Screen Shot 2016-08-25 at 9.29.05 AM

Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?

A: We have great team leadership.

Q: What will keep you up at night?

A: We feel that this is the toughest region for high school football in Tennessee, which gives us a challenging schedule.

Q: What can you build on from last year?

A: We’ll build on our ability to run the ball on offense, and stop the run on defense.

Q: Any lessons learned from last year?

A: We’ll look to put more players on the field earlier in the year to build our depth and experience.

Q: Will we see anything different this year?

A: Nothing new on offense or defense.

Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?

A: The team’s speed is competitive for our region.

Coach’s View

We play in one of the state’s toughest regions, and I think any team that comes out of our region to play in the postseason has a legitimate chance to win the state championship. Our non-region games are very challenging as well, but I think we can be competitive every Friday night.
