Q. How would you characterize this year’s team?

A. We have a close group. Hungry to improve from last year.

Q. What will be the keys to your success?

A. Obviously staying healthy will be important.

Q. Who will be your key leaders on the team?

A. We have several players returning who we expect to step into leadership roles for the team.

Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?

A. Mostly the experience we have coming back in some key positions.

Q. What will keep you up at night?

A. We play in a tough league, and we need to be ready mentally every week to compete at the highest level.

Q. What can you build on from last year?

A. The experience that some of our returning players have.

Q. Any lessons learned from last year?

A. Each team and each season are different. I think you learn new things about your team every year.

Q. Will we see anything different this year?

A. We are mostly going to be similar to past years. We are going to spread the ball out on offense and play fast and aggressively on defense.

Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?

A. We have a number of guys who can really move.

 

Coach’s View

Each week gives us a new opportunity to compete. That’s what we are working for. Playing in our league gives us a chance to play some of the best teams around the state. The atmospheres in the big games we play throughout the season make it fun to be a part of.
