A. Hungry and tough.
Q. WHAT WILL BE THE KEYS TO YOUR SUCCESS?
A. Playing together and communication.
Q. WHO WILL BE YOUR KEY LEADERS ON THE TEAM?
A. Cedric Baulding Jr., Deadrian Johnson, Kentrell Watkins Jr., Taderrius Brown, Ronnie Blackwell, and Malik Rawlings.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST REASONS FOR OPTIMISM?
A. A lot of our younger players have proved that they can play football at a high level.
Q. WHAT WILL KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT?
A. Making sure that team chemistry is strong.
Q. WHAT CAN YOU BUILD ON FROM LAST YEAR?
A. We can build off our defense and the confidence from some of our key players.
Q. ANY LESSONS LEARNED FROM LAST YEAR?
A. The entire season was a lesson for us by moving up to 3A. The takeaway is to start fast and end fast. We have to attack offensively the entire game.
Q. HOW WOULD YOU CHARACTERIZE YOUR TEAM’S SPEED?
A. I think this will be the fastest group I’ve coached since starting the program.
Q. WILL WE SEE ANYTHING DIFFERENT THIS YEAR?
A. A more aggressive approach to the game.
