Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?A: This is a team that has an opportunity to be successful. It will come down to their willingness to be a team.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Staying healthy, and how well our younger guys progress.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Our seniors.
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: We return several guys on offense and some key guys on defense.
Q: What will keep you up at night?
A: The challenge of not worrying about the things you can’t control.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: We can build on the strong finish to our regular season that got us into the playoffs and gave a lot of our guys some valuable experience.
Q: Any lessons learned from last year?
A: The importance of consistency and the consequences of being inconsistent.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: The only thing we hope you see different is that we’re better in all areas.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Our team speed has improved, especially at the skill position.
