Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
A: Together.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Staying healthy.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Brody Cooper (QB/DB), Zeke Wheeler (RB/LB), Landon Williams (OL/LB), Zac Counts (OL/DL), and Andrew Buffington (OL/DL).
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: This team doesn’t have any selfishness right now. They are all focused on the team, and that is evident by how hard they worked in the off-season.
Q: What will keep you up at night?
A: That answer will always be depth. We cannot afford injuries.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: We were region runner-up and hosted a playoff game, so hopefully we can take the next step and play a few weeks in November.
Q: Any lessons learned from last year?
A: We can play with anyone on our schedule. I think our kids learned that last year.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: No.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Faster than our opponents think we are, and slower than we want to be.
