Coach Bradley Warren

Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?

A: We graduated 17 seniors from a team that went to the playoffs last fall. This group will field many newcomers.

Q: What will be the keys to your success?

A: Success will be directly related to how fast our young players develop.

Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?

A: Jacob Anderson (Sr., OL/DL), Tristan Dawson (Sr., OL/DL), Kam Jones (Sr., FB/DE), and Brandon Bell (Sr., TE/DE).

Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism? Screen Shot 2016-08-26 at 10.29.51 AM

A: Our biggest reasons for optimism are tremendous size, character, and coachability this fall.

Q: What will keep you up at night?

A: Wondering if we can develop quickly enough to be successful.

Q: What can you build on from last year?

A: We can build on the steps we took last year to develop character and teamwork.

Q: Any lessons learned from last year?

A: Character and teamwork will carry you much further than a bad attitude.

Q: Will we see anything different this year?

A: You won’t see a tremendous shift in what we do, but you’ll see some fresh faces.

Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?

A: We aren’t very fast overall, but we have a few quick players who run well. This is a good-sized team, which could be another advantage for us.

Coach’s View

We will play a rigorous local schedule that should translate into a great football atmosphere within our community and those around us. In our region, we’ll face some great teams as well. Our schedule is challenging, so we’ll have to be tough to be successful.
