A: The 2021 Catamounts will be characterized by their work ethic and heart.

Q: What will be the keys to your success?

A: For us to be successful, we must be fundamentally sound in all areas of the game.

Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?

A: We are very fortunate to have 23 seniors on our team, and their leadership is critical to our success. 

Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?

A: We know the character of these kids and the desire they have to be successful on the field.

Q: What will keep you up at night?

A: The biggest concern we have is whether this group of kids will reach their full potential.

Q: What can you build on from last year?

A: While last year’s season did not turn out like we desired, we have a great opportunity to build on the effort these kids put into practice and games.

Q: Any lessons learned from last year?

A: With the disappointing season last year, this team understands what it will take for them to be successful.

Q: Will we see anything different this year?

A: With a new coordinator on both offense and defense, there will certainly be some changes as we move into the season.

Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?

A: Our skill positions have tremendous quickness and speed, and that should provide us with some advantages in certain situations.

Coach’s View

This year’s schedule provides us with a great opportunity to set the standard for our team on what it takes to win in one of the toughest regions in AAAAAA. We get the opportunity every week to play against not only great players, but great coaches as well.
