A. Young – this looks to be a rebuilding year at the Ridge.

A. Our players growing up in a hurry.

A. Jalen Boykin (RB/LB), Cameron Sanders (QB/DB), Shane Alford (OL/DL), and Keanu Johnson (WR/DB).
Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?

A. Our schedule.

A. Continue on learning to be team players.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. Reggie Upshaw will be our new defensive coordinator, and Chad Barger will coordinate the offense.
Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A. We have average speed.
Coach’s View
We will be very young and inexperienced this year. The few seasoned leaders we have will have to help our young kids grow up fast – especially with the difficulty level of this year’s schedule. We are excited to be the first varsity game in the state this season.
