Q. HOW WOULD YOU CHARACTERIZE THIS YEAR’S TEAM?
A. Very athletic, but inexperienced in key positions.
Q. WHAT WILL BE THE KEYS TO YOUR SUCCESS?
A. How quickly we can get the new guys up to game speed.
Q. WHO WILL BE YOUR KEY LEADERS ON THE TEAM?
A. Caden Hight, Brayden Stoker, Cohen Fletcher, Baker Capehart, and Brayden Hudson.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST REASONS FOR OPTIMISM?
A. We have a great group of seniors who have played a lot of games that should do a great job of leading us.
Q. WHAT WILL KEEP YOU UP AT NIGHT?
A. Making sure we have prepared the guys to play.
Q. WHAT CAN YOU BUILD ON FROM LAST YEAR?
A. The way that our guys fought in every game leads me to believe that we can play in big games and not make them too big.
Q. ANY LESSONS LEARNED FROM LAST YEAR?
A. Keep developing depth all year, because someone is going to get hurt at some point, and the next guy has to be ready.
Q. HOW WOULD YOU CHARACTERIZE YOUR TEAM’S SPEED?
A. We put an emphasis on getting faster this offseason, and we are starting to see the rewards of it.
