Old School vs. New School

The Greatest Game Never Played

As the style of football continuously evolves, a spirited debate is constantly swirling: the young guns of recent years or the legendary old-schoolers – who wins in a game that will never be played?

While this question will never be answered with certainty and agreement among the young and old, a panel of experts compiled data to help assemble the best rosters for New School – the millennial generation graduating in 1999 or later – and Old School – the baby boomers and Generation X graduating in 1998 or earlier.

Clearly, the players and coaches presented here have achieved remarkable success on the gridiron, and other great athletes and coaches arguably could have been included. The debate continues!
