A. We are young in key areas, but athletic.

A. We will have to develop depth on both lines.
Q. Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A. Calvin Jackson (Sr., WR/DB), Madox Wilkey (Jr., QB), Cole Stevens (Sr., OL/DL), Sam Gilbert (Sr., Y/DL), and Nate Doss (Sr., WR/DB).
Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A. We are very athletic and eager.
Q. What will keep you up at night?
A. We need more varsity depth.
Q. What can you build on from last year?
A. We have experience in major games.
Q. Any lessons learned from last year?
A. This is a new season for us all.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. Our schemes will be adjusted to fit the 2018 players.
Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A. We have a lot of speed at the skill and linebacker positions.
Coach’s View
Our team should be competitive in every game as long as we remain relatively healthy and continue to show progress in the weight room and classroom.
