A: Excited.

A: How the older players adapt and lead new systems and a new standard and how the younger players compete against older opponents.

Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?

A: Chase Watkins (QB/LB), Carson Middleton (OL/DL), Hayden Kerr (OL/DL), Darrian Burks (WR/DB), and Parker Metcalf (OB/LB).

Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?

A: Players buying into new systems and standards and are not afraid to work.

A: Missed opportunities for growth.

Coach’s View

The team’s success will be built on the belief and confidence that the players can build in a short amount of time with new schemes and new standards in place. The team is working hard in the weight room and off-season workouts. A good mix of older players with some exciting young players gives us a chance to compete in the new region.
