A. Focused and ready to return to the playoffs.
Q. What will be the keys to your success?
A. Execution. Several new faces must step up quickly.
Q. Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A. Ethan Hyde (OL/DL), Jacob Francisco (OL/LB), Braden Penny (QB/DB), and Will Roberts (RB/DB).
Q. What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
Q. A. This year, we look to have a good blend of speed and size.
Q. What will keep you up at night?
A. Like most small schools, our depth will be an issue.
Q. What can you build on from last year?
A. Our first trip to the playoffs. Our players are eager for a return trip.
Q. Any lessons learned from last year?
A. Everybody has to play every week.
Q. Will we see anything different this year?
A. A Pistol Wing-T on offense and 3-3 Stack on defense.
Q. How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A. We will have quick backs and receivers.
Coach’s View
We have a great opportunity to return to the playoffs for the second straight year and our second year overall. A strong start would build the confidence to make this the best season in our short history.
