Q: How would you characterize this year’s team?
A: Poised and confident.
Q: What will be the keys to your success?
A: Controlling the line of scrimmage, controlling the turnover margin, and winning the kicking game.
Q: Who will be your key leaders on the team?
A: Our senior class.
Q: What are your biggest reasons for optimism?
A: Our starting quarterback is back, plus a good group of linemen and skill players on offense and defense are returning.
Q: What will keep you up at night?
A: Hoping that we can provide the best opportunities for these players to get better every week.
Q: What can you build on from last year?
A: A significant number of younger players contributed last year, producing some much-needed depth in key places going into this season.
Q: Any lessons learned from last year?
A: Coach situational football as often as possible, and never neglect fundamentals.
Q: Will we see anything different this year?
A: No significant changes.
Q: How would you characterize your team’s speed?
A: Our overall team speed is better.
